Here is a pool from an online sealed event. I had a fair amount of trouble with this and was wondering how others may have built it. This is what went to submission. The Halimar excavators cannot be right.

If you're set on a UW base, I would have splashed red in place of the excavators for burst lightning and sparkmage.
Building it from the ground up, I probably would have taken a less controlling route and gone GWr. You've got all these good small white guys that go well with the green pumps; landfall works better on the 2-drops in white and the 3-drops in green, and the gear; and you've got a bomb finisher.

I solved this puzzle before lookat David's post. I think he's spot on. The eye and refuge let you get away with splashing Sparky and Burst off 1 mountain. The wurm and pump spells compliment the white better than the blue, which is largely defensive and won't help you punch through.

Yeah, looking now the GWr base is probably much better. I looked at GW, and thought it was a tad short, but adding the red is just excellent here.
As for the Magosi, that would have been excellent Josh. If nothing else it gives stalled board landfall options, and shouldn't be a problem with the number of basic lands. Thanks for the feedback.
