Default Ultimate Bad Bob Story

From Wizards Coverage:

"The Vintage Championship ended late last night when Owen Turtenwald defeated Bob Maher to take the win. Bob lost when his Dark Confidant turned up a Force of Will, which had to sting a little considering that Bob designed that card himself as his reward for winning the Magic Invitational."

Bob Maher's not the only Magician to literally kill himself:

Quote:
Finkel missed a land drop and played a morph. Budde Shocked it at end of turn. It was Voidmage Prodigy, and Budde recoiled in mock horror, earning big laughs from the crowd.

Budde was still shaking his head and laughing.

"You are so dead!" Kai Budde

Knock on wood, but I've never died to Bob and I have been playing him a long time....think I played my Deadguy Ale deck for like 15 straight tourneys.....I always ran at least one tombstalker......I've flipped him numerous times to bob and won all the games....guess I am just lucky.

My ultimate bad Bob story is when I had to play him round 3 at some California GP, because he didn't have 3 byes because he was just getting off his suspension and his rating was just short of 3 byes.

One game he cast Quicksilver Dragon, and the turn after followed it up with a hard cast Slice and Dice. Yeah, I lost that round.

What can I say - Bob has been my friend on both sides of the board.
Yea, I remember that game Lance. I was so thankful you blocked and killed him.
BTW, it was "Snuff Out" not Vindicate and some two drop.

This is all I heard about that tournament the next couple days. Didn't remember who won or anything, just the bad Bob beats.
