Also, Zaiem, you can get all the fake DCI numbers you need from me now. I'm damn near blushing!

Great of you to take the time to do this.

The game store back in NC (run by two women) had a sign to this effect in their store:

House of Flying Monkeys is no longer in business. There is another store out here in Spanaway that is doing magic, where the Monkey's customers are drifting to, and is working on getting their tournaments started. There are already people in there almost every day playing.

Dreamstrand Comics
Location: Just a bit off Greenwood.
Days they run events: They run tournaments on Saturday nights, which is perfect for me since I work Fridays.
Formats: Usually Sealed, but they're open to suggestions. I saw them run an EDH tournament a while back, and I even heard they ran Vanguard once -- apparently it's a degenerate format.
Space: A bit on the small side, but it's never too crowded.
Players: A mix. I've seen people running Cathartic Adepts in Alara Sealed and I've seen people school me hard.
Prize support: Good.
Tournament organizer: Everything goes by smoothly, I'm gonna be going to Dreamstrands' pre-release after doing some 2HG at the big one.

Thread has been stickied...stuck... I don't know which one is proper here...

Also, I refuse to play at World of Collections in Edmonds because the guy running the place called me a fag when I was 15 when I said I was friends with an openly gay magic player. I'm not gonna support any place that is run by someone like that.

Yeah, it's fucking ridiculous. I'll never buy anything or go into that store for any reason other then to make fun of their singles prices.

Deleted everything that is irrelevant to this thread. Kept everything trashing World of Collections. Everyone needs to know how much those guys suck. Sorry that happened to you, Jeremy.
