No mid week magic at Lynnwood. Library got way busy and the time slots were too short. But we are setting up a schedule of tournaments at the Monroe Library once a month. Saturdays at noon.

We are having our first Legacy Tournament at the Monroe Public Library on 9th of October. It will start at Noon and last until 4:45 or sooner depending on attendance. It will be a double elimination. Should be fun. Hope to see some new players there.

The Thursday Sealed Tournaments at Liberty Cafe in Renton are going to be discontinued for the next couple of weeks.

Instead, I'm organizing an EDH League, multiplayer style.
It costs 7.50$ to play each week and lots of Scars of Mirrodin boosters and other prizes can be won.
At the end of each month the top-3 of the League will win additional prizes, think expensive Rares and Mythics, FTV boxes, Fatpacks, playmats, etc.

The matches are going to be played with the addition of achievement points, so killing an opponent will not be the only way to gather points. If you want to have an idea how achievement points might look like, I suggest you read Sheldon's articles on Starcitygames.com.

If you have questions regarding this weekly tournament or the League it feeds, email me on eelco.vr@ashnods.com.

Thanks,

E.

Aha! I'm kinda slow, but I finally figured out why I occasionally get calls about Wed Standard. We actually canceled those events a while back due to a seeming lack of interest. We're now doing D&D Encounters and trying to get some miniatures action going on Wednesdays. It does look like we're going to do some free Standard on Mondays, though, which will hopefully be a better draw than the old Wed buy-in tourneys.

Shane's opened up it's new shop in Renton last week.
FNM was awsome waaaay more speace...pleanty of arm and leg room with more then enough room for 44 players. It's like a brand new store including new tables/chairs etc.
Real nice and clean!
Right next to Starbucks in the same shopping center.

Oh, sick. Shane's one of my favorite people - but that store was soooo small. Awesome. Will have to stop by some time. Definitely stopping by for the GPT on the 11th.

This picture looked much better on my phone. Shane's now has 6x 8 man tables set up, new chairs, and the elbow room is a million times better than the old place. 2 wall mounted monitors set up for pairings/standings. Impressive.

Nice. That place looks much better for events. Wonder if there will be murals on the walls at some point.

Will definitely have to stop by soon.
